for everyone

A very warm welcome to Tony,Tiff,Josh, Renee and Gabe if ur reading dis..

Most of the time, we the  fans take time off to read up the TJs blogs. It's addictive, interesting, kickass...blah blah. Maybe now u guys take time off to read a fans blog on how they feel abt u TJs, abt life, the universe and abt 5 Takes (sounds familiar??)

Ever since the programme started abt 2 mths ago, I became a good gerl cos I was always home on Sats to watch 5 Takes on Discovery Travel and Living Channel 16 at 9pm. Mum loves me more since then and watch it together with me and she simply cannot remember its called 5 Takes and refer this prog as the 5 kids show. dun ask my y she labelled it dat way.

Dun be mistaken, i'm nt here to promote my multiply site, but this is the best place to write a long story. If i were to post at the message boards, most likely the server might crashed or msg got truncated or the fans would plead to the moderator to deny my access to post messages. ( y m i talking some IT stuffs here...watever)

I love the concept of this travel programme..there is a budget, 5 young travellers, do things what the locals suggest to do plus its interactive. The show has made an impact to my lifestyle, knowledge and circle of frenz. I learn a lot frm this prog cos I hate reading books except Loney Planet and I've gain 5 new frenz. 1 episode of 5 Takes is equivalent to tonnes of info frm websites + uncountable number of travel books all squeeze in 1 hr.Isn't it better for me to juz watch TV? Most importantly..i love travelling

Would like to say a few words to all the TJs that changed my life.

I was never into culture till I watch you. aft a few episodes, i found that checking cultures out are nt dat bad afterall . My first impression of culture is boring! However u made all the discovery very interesting and learning abt other ppl's culture is very meaningful..I mean everytime I visited a country, I'm more interested in doing things rather than seeing things.Doing more extreme sports, water sports etc  is my interest so naturally I would go to islands or countries like NZ and Aussie where sports is religion. However now I tink culture is cool and I'm gonna start it out during my NZ or Europe trip yr 2007. Keep up the good work..u might neber noe u have influenced lotsa tough cookie like me to love culture bcos bubbly Renee makes everyone tink and travel out of the box. Being the youngest in the Team, I'm sure u had a good experience seeing the cultures of aussie, nz and asia. Thanks for sharing it.

I should have more frequency with u cos I'm a food and music lover too. Among all TJs, I tink u talk the most..but ur a DJ. Talk, talk, talk is wat u do but ur entertaining..like a radio.Simply entertaining..watching u eat is also hilarious esp during the Melbourne episode. When everyone is trying to help Renee fig out the ans on Chloe at the Jackson Hotel,u were happily eating sandwich ..u really live up to ur take. There seem to be slight difference in u since episode 1 till now...u have grown chubbier..but ur still cute.Means ur really working and trying all the food u can with ur budget. Would like to congrat u on conquering ur fear of heights by scaling the sydney bridge. ur really scared of heights?? can't believe it..but dats da way to overcome ur fear. to conquer fear is to face it...so far i dun really have any fear but i will conquer it should i have one. Kudos to u for making it to da top.anyways have u seen, taste or knew abt the milo godzilla dat I was talking abt?

Until now I still have no idea wats an alternative traveller. I noe wats alternative rock..but alternative traveller is something new in genre of travelling...ur nt a risk taker but ur out for some fun..so does dat define alternative? However i tink its up to individual on how to define wats an alternative traveller..u gave me the idea on travelling with an open mind and take care of my one and only life.Understand dat u consulted ur mom over the bungy jump issue and i tink dats really a good move.If ur undecided, talk to ur parents and if they ensure u dat its ok to go ahead..juz go ahead. I believe that a parents blessing is essential whenever we are engaged in a dangerous sport. The most dangerous thing I ever did was skydiving without letting my parents noe before I sign up. They only knew abt it after i paid up..but they gave me their blessings cos they are confident in me..In short..believe in urself. if u tink u can, u can..else dun tink abt it

I tink ur nt only the party animal..ur the insomniac.u seem full of energy but i noe ur totally drained.doesn't mean a party animal dun care abt any other matters in life. i was touched and impressed by ur blog dedicated to ur mom on mothers day. It's like seeing the lighter side of Tony. Was a bit sad to see that u kinda lonely during the Perth episode. Sometimes we juz drift into solitude and solitude is an act of independence. But u enjoyed the fishing trip with Josh and it was great seeing u smile again . Btw, I like ur hat that has holes...and ur hair sticking out frm it..its damn cute.I tink ur da most overworked TJs as partying starts aft dark but during the day..u still tag along with other TJs.Ur a survivor! I agree abt ur statement on u being urself..u nt someone awesome..ur U. Ur Tony!

Yo brother..im like 99.9% close to meeting up with u for dragonboat but its ok..we didn't get to meet..maybe some other time..at some other country.I'm a traveller..maybe we might bumped into each other in some other cool places ard da world. The moment u said on tv that "I'm the adrenalin junkie"  I was like....dis dude is like my challenger..every week i would be excited to see whether u did live up to ur take. Most of the adventures are mild but the ultimate one is da bungy..great swan dive there and with no second tots. Did i ever mentioned dat ur hairdo, height and philosophy of life matches my bestfren who has died late last Nov? Nah..he didn't die doing any adrenalin activities..he passed on just like dat in his sleep..he was only 28 bro. Missed him a little but when 5 Takes airs on tv and u made ur intro ..i was like..he's juz like andi. I dun miss him dat much since then. But Josh is Josh. Ur my fav for who u r and it has no connection with ur similar traits as my bestfren. Have read ur budget theory for backpackers..dats juz simple maths with a dash of logic. COOL..Josh is someone who u either  love or hate  for being such a hypermaniac wacko who is so electrifying (voltage!! juz like ur white t-shirt..is dat ur fav T?)..ur forever unable to sit still.anyways ..i chose to love u.One Love!

I guess...some of u may yawn like hell or cursing away cos its damn long..but I'm so obssessed with u all that frenz  dat doesn't have cable tv came to know wats 5 Takes all abt. Some of them has started to tune in and yesh they agreed its awesome. It's more entertaining and interactive than programmes such as Globe Trekker and Lonely Planet 6 Degrees.Reality check..i dun go for luxury travel and can't afford to..I'm budget traveller who goes ard with style.and gain priceless travel tales.and thus Im a freestyler..and that makes  5 Takes a travel programme that I can relate to very much. After this programmes end, I hope I gain another 5 new frenz for travel info and stuffs to share with.We are only separated by 6 degrees and I thank everyone for the effort to reply to my messages despite ur tight schedule. Have a safe trip! Love u lots..n one day we all shall meet up and perhaps travel together.

Sorry if any of my tots offended anyone ...love me or hate me but spare me in ur difference.

Rgs,

Yati

Hi Linda,

Thanks so much for ur reply..I am an avid fan of this programme. I could connect very well with the show's concept as well as the TJs. Although I did nt manage to meet them personally when they are in Singapore, their replies to my post have been constant and I'm happy enuff that we are all communicating. U should continue watching this show..be a traveller and nt a tourist. Been following them since the Cairns (2nd) episode. Kind of miss the debut episode in Sydney as I was nt ard during the weekend.Should I visit Taiwan someday..can u be my guide? Dreams can become reality if u work towards..Come visit me here and gimme a hug!

Hi Jen

I tink u seem more comfortable with ppl calling u Jen. Did u really saw Josh at the beach? My gosh..u better close ur eyes...get hypnotized and confirmed it is Josh..hehe..Is he ur fav TJ too or u being partial by loving everybody? Basically I dun really know why I like him the best but maybe we r both the adrenalin junkie and as episodes goes by, u will realized that he is the most intelligent among all, the least complaining TJ, the most laidback, very determined and decisive plus very brotherly.I'm nt saying the rest are nt dis great but he outshined. He's cute..well I've seen cuter guys den Josh but he's definitely unique and interesting.

Glad that I have gained 1 more fren besides the 5 TJs. Thanks Jen..so when is da hug?

Actually, I really doubted that,I wasnt paying attention to that guy when surfing at first, 'cause we often have foreigners surfing at the area. The reason I noticed him was because him asking the guy that was with with him quietly about what things are in Chinese on the sea, seems like a nice, polite guy unlike a lot of foriegners in Taiwan who often seems a bit unrespectful.
However, because on the sea we were all in motion moves or sitting still facing out the water so that makes it kindda hard to have a good look at his face.
It wasnt until i went to the 5takes meeting with fans at night that Josh ask the host something she just said in Chinese "What was that called ?....."(something like that) did I think of the possibility of that guy on the sea be Josh.... HAHAHAHA~ he hasnt reply yet, right? I hope u wont be too dissapointed if that wasnt him, I think I would feel more dissapointed if that was him but I didnt get to talk to him~~ hehe
Well, I dont particularly like anyone more than the other four of them, 'cause I love people, and thats part of the reason why I wanted to watch their show. I love all five of them, I thought everyone is unique and has been through different things personal experiences that made them the person they are today, it's a combination can never find in anywhere~
But anyway, i think Ive said too much~ About the hug, hey, you will have to be patient I guess, after all I still have to finish my last year of high school, hehe!!
